Equipment
and Cost
The
2009 cost to participate is $80 for Racine
County
residents or $95 for non-Racine county residents. The
cost for this program is much less expensive than comparable
football programs in Muskego/Wind Lake. As a participant, each
child will receive the following:

Parents
will need to provide their child with an athletic cup, mouth guard(s),
and cleats.
Leagues
and Teams
Players
are separated into leagues based on a combination of age and weight.
This allows for a safe, yet competitive environment for each player.
The Midget League and Pee-Wee league play with 9 players on the field.
All other leagues play with 11 players. The leagues breakdown as

Participation
RYS
has a 100% participation policy.
All kids will play at a designated position on either offense or
defense for the entire game.
Practices
Each
team will practice 3 days a week beginning the week of August 18th,
2008. Practices will be held at sites in either Wind Lake or
Muskego. The head coach will provide more details regarding
practice times and locations after registration.
Games
Each
team will play 7 games. Games are held on Saturday’s beginning
on the first Saturday after Labor Day. Games last 1-2 hours and
can begin anytime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The schedule will be
available two weeks prior to the start of the season. It is
expected that one game will be played at Meyer Park in
Wind
Lake
. Other games may be played in
Waterford
, Union Grove,
Burlington
, or
Racine
. A majority of the games will be played in
Racine
.
The head coach on each team can coordinate car pools as necessary.
